Twitter-Plurk

Twitter and Plurk are considered microblogging sites because you can only post 140 characters including spaces. They are also considered a

web2.0 tool because you are creating content for the web.


EDUCATIONAL USES

Set up an account at twitter.com Choose an identifying name such as first initial last name with a numer(rmartin352, bvosburgh121)
Some people use their whole name (robinmartin, johnwalsh). Others use a fun name (rosewellsgirl baseball400). Then you can choose
an avatar (image). Most educators are using their own image, some choose a graphic or cartoon image.
Begin to follow people.
The thread is random depending upon who jumps in to comment.
